Hippisch Centrum Bodegraven is centrally located in the Groene Hart. Due to our proximity to the N11 and A12, our riding school is easily accessible for riders from outside the area. The riding school features 3 arenas, indoor and outdoor stables, a lunge circle, 5 paddocks, a horse walker and pastures. Weather permitting, trail rides can also be taken directly from the grounds. The ride goes through an extensive polder area, along cornfields and ditches, ideal for enjoying peace and nature. At Hippisch Centrum Bodegraven, there is a wide choice for every rider to feel at home.
Large arena
Hippisch Centrum Bodegraven has three arenas. The largest arena is covered and measures 20 x 67 meters. Riding lessons and competitions are held in this arena. The arena can be fully viewed from the canteen, where you can follow the lesson or competition while enjoying refreshments.
Small arena
Our other covered arena measures 20 x 40 meters. The arena is directly adjacent to the large indoor arena and is used for warming up during competitions. The arena can also be used for private lessons and free riding by boarding/lease clients.
Outdoor arena
In addition to two covered arenas, we also have one outdoor arena measuring 20 x 40 meters. This arena is a favorite with boarding/lease clients during the summer months.
Our two covered arenas feature lighting, mirrors and a sound system. The outdoor arena has lighting.
Not only the rider should feel at home at Hippisch Centrum Bodegraven, but also the horses and ponies. That's why the riding school offers a varied selection of both outdoor and indoor stables. Indoors, horses are mucked out weekly and bedded multiple times; outdoors, clients muck out their own horse/pony.
Every horse needs sufficient exercise, which is why we have, among other things, 5 paddocks. Horses and ponies can use the paddocks in both summer and winter months. Each day horses or ponies are allowed to use the paddocks for a minimum of 2 hours.
During the summer period, there is the option to rent a pasture for your horse for part of a day; we have a diverse number of pastures available.
We want to offer our riders a diverse range of services, so we also have a lunge circle, 4-horse walker and 2 washing stations.
