When you decide to start riding horses at Hippisch Centrum Bodegraven, you will first receive some introductory lessons. In these lessons you will learn to steer, walk, trot and gallop independently.
Once the instructor gives the green light, you have the choice to join a group lesson. These are offered 6 days a week at different levels, so you can also switch lessons as you master horsemanship better.
For your first introductory lessons you don't need your own equipment yet. When you join the group, we expect you to purchase your own riding clothes, helmet and whip. By riding clothes we mean; riding boots with sufficient heel or jodhpurs in combination with chaps and riding pants.
Upper body clothing can be chosen freely as long as there are no loose parts and it doesn't flap. We also advise against wearing large jewelry and we may ask you to remove it when you enter the lesson.
