When you decide to start horse riding at Hippisch Centrum Bodegraven, you will first receive some introductory lessons. In these lessons you will learn to independently steer, walk, trot and canter.
Once the instructor gives the green light, you have the option to join a regular lesson. These are offered 6 days a week at various levels, so you can also switch lessons as you become more proficient at horse riding.
For your first introductory lessons you do not yet need your own equipment. Once you join a group, we expect you to purchase your own riding clothes, helmet and whip. By riding clothes we mean, riding boots with sufficient heel or jodhpurs combined with chaps and riding pants.
Upper body clothing can be chosen freely as long as there are no loose parts and it does not flap. We also advise against wearing large jewelry and we may ask you to remove it when you enter the lesson.
